A year later and those plans were changed. Now it wasn't just one stand it was the whole stadium. For a while it looked like we were going to have a long journey to Cheltenham to play our home games. This was while the Mem was redeveloped. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arturus Architects have gained planning approval for a major redevelopment of the Bristol Memorial Stadium for Bristol Rovers Football Club. The design is for an 18,500 all seated ground which is entirely funded by the enabling development of student accommodation, a hotel, offices, a gym, convenience store and sports injury clinic. The clubs facilities include a major restaurant overlooking the pitch which will be used as a conference venue on non-match days, 22 boxes (of which 14 can be quickly converted into hotel rooms), supporters club bar, a club shop, and changing facilities with physio rooms, medical suite and warm up rooms. http://www.arturus.co.uk/portfolio/stadia-arena2.html#../images/sports-leisure/s2-photos6.jpg
